Suppers Done - Chef Carie's Italian Cheese Sticks
Welcome to our Homestead, With our supper last night, I made homemade cheese sticks. We have at times ordered cheese sticks, who don't love a side of these. They can be pricey for just a few sticks, so I decided to make my own. And it turns out to be more cost effient as well. Save money and get more, now that's what I call a win. And tastes much better than frozen cheese sticks you buy from a store. Chef Carie's Italian Cheese Sticks Ingredients 8 Mozzarella string cheese, cut in half (16 pieces) 1/2 C. All purpose flour 1/4 C. Corn Starch 2 eggs (Farm Fresh) 1 C. Italian Bread crumbs Oil for frying (deep frying) Directions 1. Cut the Mozzarella string cheese in half, equalling 16 pieces. Place in the freezer on a cookie sheet for at least an hour. This is to keep the cheese firm while frying. 2.
